Spitsbergen “The land of the midnight sun”
From June onwards (when the sun never sets) the Svalbard archipelago has made Spitsbergen popular with travelers on a quest to observe Polar Bears and other wildlife, such as Walrus, Svalbard Reindeer, Arctic Fox, several species of seals and spectacular bird cliffs in all of Svalbard.
Cherish top moments
With sightings of a Walrus female in The Netherlands this autumn, the potential imminent possibility of the emergence of this arctic species in Belgian (coastal) waters is possible. Memories of sitting in the midst of these behemoths there (Spitbergen) where they really belong, something you can always look back on so blissfully!
